New Project

Name: Title the Project

Location: Where you will save the project

Scratch Disks: Where you put the back-up copies of all the different videos.  (Same as Project)

Left Screen – Edits

Right Screen – Finished Product

Bottom Right – Timeline: Ability to shorten or lengthen, add audio or transitions.

Bottom Left – Asset Container

File – New- Sequence

AVCHD

1080i – Big

720p – Smaller

·      After choosing a pixal, choose a frame per second… Normally consumer camera (30).

·      If you want to rename the sequence you can but does not matter.

File- Import- Select the files and Import

Scrubber – Tells you where you are in your time code.

{ - Endpoint Marker

} - Outpoint

On bottom right – Use the bottom scroll bar to zoom in and out.

Drag down to V1.

Ignore Warning.

If the size is different from the left to the right:

-       Control

-       Clip Video

-       Scale to Frame Size

Effect Controls

Motion

Click the Clocks next to ‘Position and Scale’

Type in the Numbers you want to use for Position (x,y values) and Scale.

Put Scrubber all the way to the right (Black Screen)

Hit left arrow key once - You want the very last frame.

Add another key frame (Two Diamonds) - Able to zoom in for what you want the final project to look like. 

Space Bar will play what you have so far, repeat the steps with all pictures or videos.

To put a title into the video:

Graphics - New Layer - Text

Adding Audio:

Drag into A1 below the images/videos.

Adding Transitions:

Arrow on bottom left - Effects

Can choose transition

Select all slides by clicking and dragging

Sequence - Apply Default Transitions to Selection

Can click and delete any transitions by clicking on them.

EXPORT:

Sequence - Render Files In to Out 

File-Export-Media

Format - H.264

Youtube (Size)

Output Name: Name it and save it.
